APPOINTMENT FEES
Fees and payment information.
Individual psychology appointments
$250 per 50-minute session
Third-party consultations
$125 per 30 minutes
This may include scheduled consultations with schools, universities, GPs or other professionals.
Supporting letters and reports
Fees depend on the time and complexity involved. The cost will be discussed before the work begins.
REBATES AND FUNDING
Medicare, private health and NDIS.
Medicare rebates
A Medicare rebate may be available when you have a valid referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. The full session fee remains payable. Please speak with your referrer about your eligibility.
Private health insurance
Psychology rebates may be available depending on your insurer and level of cover. Contact your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements.
NDIS arrangements
Centre Psychology provides therapeutic support for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Centre Psychology cannot accept NDIA managed funding.

What to expect when getting started.
In-person and telehealth appointments
Appointments are available in person in Moorabbin and by telehealth. The most suitable format can be discussed when arranging your first appointment.
Do I need a referral?
You do not need a referral to make an appointment. However, a valid referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan are required if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate.
Your first session
The first session focuses on understanding what is happening for you, gathering relevant background and history, discussing your goals and identifying how Samantha may be able to help.
Adolescent confidentiality and parent involvement
Confidentiality, its limits and appropriate parent or caregiver involvement will be explained clearly. The approach is tailored to the adolescent’s age, circumstances and needs.

Practical questions about accessing support.
An SMS reminder is sent approximately two business days before each appointment. Please reply to the reminder text if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment—including cancellations on the day—and missed appointments attract the full session fee. Weekends and public holidays are not counted when calculating the notice period.
Supporting letters and reports may be provided when clinically appropriate and when sufficient information is available. Fees depend on the time and complexity involved and will be discussed before work begins. A request does not guarantee a particular recommendation or outcome.
