SUPPORT THAT CONSIDERS THE WHOLE PICTURE

When learning becomes harder than it needs to be.

Difficulties at school or university are not always about academic ability. Anxiety, low mood, ADHD, autism, perfectionism, executive-functioning difficulties, friendship issues and significant life events can all affect attendance, concentration, motivation and performance.

Therapy helps identify the factors affecting the student and develop a realistic plan for moving forward. Where helpful and with consent, this may involve collaboration with parents, teachers, wellbeing staff, universities, GPs or other professionals.

Support adjustment between school, VCE, university and employment, with liaison involving parents, teachers, schools or universities where appropriate.
